Storyboarding Practice
Escape Room: Tournament of Champions (Train Scene)
Overall Experience:
My overall experience with completing and practicing with a storyboard for the first time was fulled with several challenges. Storyboarding is a crucial aspect of filmmaking, I've realized during this process that without the visual outline of shot by shot takes and scenes the production process would be chaotic and tiresome with trying to piece together scenes. Storyboarding offers relief to the organization of the process, so that the movements, angles, cuts, lighting, and acting are all set in paper to be seen and followed with ease. However, the struggles that I have faced during the course of storyboarding Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, my major challenge was getting the exact detail onto paper as it is on screen, I realize that the detail and description doesn't have to be perfect but it must be clear to those who are viewing it and that was a hurdle for me as I didn't know what elements I should emphasize more over others. With time and practice I will come to understand the world of storyboarding painlessly and be prepared to storyboard my own film.
