Sound Completion: Update

 Sound Journey 

Use of Diegetic and Non-Diegetic Sound:

    The first half of the opening, the flower scene, I use a combination of diegetic and non diegetic sounds as a way to convey a sense of softness, light, and dreaminess. The real life elements of birds chirping in the background and the wind blowing calmly combined with a light and earthy music track works extremely well together in the case of this project. The second half, corner store scene, is completely diegetic sounds/ambient sounds taken at the time of filming. This will include my feet walking, cars driving by, honking sounds, pill bottles rattling, etc. My sound journey has been surprisingly smooth, I enjoyed learning the different ways to layer and edit sound. I believe that my film's sound portion is completed and done to the best of my abilities, it is my hope that the way I have edited parts will be sufficient for the film's overall presentation.
