My Time Editing:

   Since I am the only person in my "group" it is my duty to wear all the hats. I am the camera woman, actress, and editor. I've spent a couple of days editing the videos that I currently have. The editing process hasn't been strenuous or stressful, it's actually fun for me to learn different techniques and visual appeals I can incorporate into my film. Right now I have been testing out how I would like my title sequence to display as and when it should display. The newest video clip that I have added to my arsenal of desired shots is a clip of a clear blue sky, as shown in the picture above. I may add some improvements to this clip by reshooting, keeping the same concept but adding more flare and meaning to the plain scene. The toughest problem I have is positioning my shots in the right areas, meaning that I am conflicted on when to show a certain angle in the duration of the opening sequence. another issue is sound which I have yet to resolve as of yet, but that has been an issue since the audio is interrupted by unwanted disturbances that cut in and out as each shot ends and begins a new clip.

Additional Filming:

    I will definitely being doing some additional filming for sure. I plan on filming on Saturday March 12. Hopefully these dates come to fruition and I will be able to capture all of my desired angles and create the full narrative of my film. On Saturday I will be reshooting the drug store scene to ensure that I collect as many angles and close ups as I can that I missed out on the first time. I hope to also film this at night because I think it will represent a more gritty tone that is reflected in my mood board. During this week I will be going to the store to purchase a couple of my props that I do not already have at home. I need a lot of flowers for the next scene and it would be pleasing to the eye if they were live flowers instead of plastic. A white sheet to be laid across the grass, a flower crown, and a weaker basket (maybe) are the objects I'll be purchasing. Hopefully sometime next week I will completely gather the major pieces of my film, the flower scene. This portion of the film is key in order to represent the drastic shift between both locations.
